Born In Bronx on July 24,1970 to David, a computer operation specialist and Guadalupe, a kindergarten teacher, the Puerto Rican Jennifer always knew what she wanted : to become a great artist. At young age, she started a career as a musical theater actrees and took a dancing class which eventually led to a tour of europe and japan. At 16, she played a small part in the film My Little Girl. Then, 4 years later, she made her first break in her acting career after winning a dance contest to become a “Fly Girl” for the Fox television In Living Color, a TV series.
